Tucker M. Fox was born and raised in Chicago, and he still lives there, close enough to the lake to hear the volleyball.
By day he works in IT security. He runs the phishing tests, takes the 2 a.m. calls, and reminds the sales team, again, not to click the link.
He grew up at winter LAN parties in his cousin's basement, where he learned that co-op games are won by whoever is willing to talk. Years later he was the raid caller in his MMO guild, the voice calling targets and cooldowns. Never the top damage. Always the reason they lived.
His first series started on a beach volleyball court. The company's top salesman carried the team, and Tucker served into the net four times. On the train home he wondered how that same office would do inside a game, where muscle and charm count for nothing and the guy who reads the rules is the strongest one there.
He writes funny, spicy adventures for adult readers, in fantasy worlds and out among the stars. He still plays volleyball. He is still the worst server.
